  3. @Judy, Yoga is a great way to relieve stress too! But laughter is such a natural stress reliever. Just put on funny movie, grab some popcorn and enjoy yourself.

    @Jennifer, it’s good to plan for what is coming up, but its also important to be in the moment and not get overwhelmed about what is to come. That’s where having balance in all areas of your life comes in!

  4. I try to remember that worrying solves nothing – I’m learning to live in the moment more and I tend to hand things over to God. Stress for me is about trying to have everything perfect – unachievable and ultimately self defeating (I’m learning to let things go – took me a long time to learn that though!)

    1. Leanne, I too have learned the value of having a strong spiritual center in order to cope successfully with stress. At the end of the day, there is so much that is beyond our control, so learning to prayerfully let go and hand things over to God is absolutely essential for peace of mind. It’s not easy, but it does get easier over time as my faith grows.
